The first number denotes the filter thread specification of the lens on which the step-up ring is to be used.  The second number denotes the filter diameter specification that will be screwed on to the wider end of the ring.

Are step-up and step-down rings the same?

Our patented FREEFORM ADAPTER is the world’s first mountable filter adapter ring! (This is an accessory, filter sold separately.)

It features 77mm, 82mm and 90mm threads that allow you to mount any of our existing FX filters. And at the base is a 1/4 20 threaded hole which will now allow you to HOLD or MOUNT your favorite FX filters in any configuration. You can mount one of our handles/pro arms/or any accessories with a 1/4 20 screw! This accessory unlocks endless creative potential!

Our PLFX soft pouches is the perfect way to store and carry your FX Filters around,  protected and in style.

Our Articulating Arm Mini is a more affordable option compared to our 12 Inch Pro Articulating arm. Use this arm to mount either our prisms or other video gear like an on camera monitor. Use this mini arm system to mount our prisms into positions for that perfect shot.

Our new "Freeform Cine FX Filter Tray Adapter" allows you to mount our FX filters directly into your matte box.

The Adapter is the size of your traditional 4x5.65 Filter for matte-boxes and is placed in your matte box just like a filter would be. Now you can directly mount and screw our larger FX filters into the threadbare FreeForm Filter Adapter to mount our FX filters in your matte box to fit in front of larger cinema camera lenses and sensors!

Available in various FX Filter sizes. You will now be able to mount and use our extensive line of FX filters when using a matte box on your camera with this new adapter!

Our 12inch Articulating Arm System allows for customizable mounting positions for our various products to pull off that perfect shot. This arm comprises a single component double-ball joint arm for designing your own arm setup. 12" Double Ball Arms / 6061 T6 Aluminum / Hard Anodized.

Use this arm in a myriad of ways...from mounting and locking in our handheld products, to mounting a camera monitor and so much more!

Our pro clamp is a mountable grip clamp that allows the mounting of our handheld units to our various articulating arms. This allows for full control to lock in our various 150mm handheld units in front of the camera in any position you want without having to hold it.
