Split Diopter FX
Split Diopters have been used in the film industry since the 1980’s, typically to allow you to keep both your foreground & background in focus at the same time. What we’ve done is taken taken a +2 diopter and built it into a fully rotatable filter ring. With the diopter being much closer to the lens via threading directly on, it actually has the opposite effect — it creates an organic out of focus blur refraction to parts of your image!
