The Handheld Split Halo FX creates an in camera refracted motion blur effect that works great for abstracting parts of your frame & subject! This was designed based of our our existing Halo FX series circular filters, but now with a handheld design!
Organic Motion Blur Effect
When the Handheld Split Halo FX is held in front of your lens, it will create a organic motion blur effect from your subject. The handheld design allows you to dial in the exact look you are going for!
2 Size Options
We offer 2 different handheld sizes! Our 150mm is geared more for larger cinema setups, while our 100mm is more compact and ideal for smaller form factor setups! So no matter you camera setup, we got you covered!
We also have a circular version that threads directly to your lens and is fully rotatable! This is a great alternative when you want to lock in the split motion blur effect without holding it directly in front of your lens!
We also have a full circular version of this filter called the Halo FX Filter. It takes the same effect of the Split Halo FX, but it fully ecompasses the entire outer edge of your frame. It is also available in 2 different strengths!
